Driffield Residential Development

This 27 Acre Greenfield site on the outskirts of Driffield, in the East Riding of Yorkshire, was the subject of a hybrid planning application consisting of a Detailed Application for part of the site within the Driffield (North) Conservation Area and an Outline Application for the remaining site.

Proposals include a total of 259 plots with a mixture of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bed family dwellings. A total of 19 different house types were designed, with a number of bespoke buildings to enhance the character of the Conservation Area.

An existing beck running north to south along the centre of the site, known locally as the Water Forlorns, created a focal point to the design and was opened up to either side to provide an attractive and useable area of public open space.
